Project Dubois

Previous Search Attempts

If you have any information on Glen, Ethel, Alec or any members of the West family, please leave a message on our Project Dubois Discussion Area.

Many people has tried so hard to help but have yet to find him. Here are some of the things I have done to try and locate Glen over the years.

  • Glen has not appeared on the Social Security Death Index. If he has passed away then it was before death records were available or he never had a soc sec number.

  • I contacted every Glen Dubois (Duboise, Du Boise) in the telephone directory. I even found one the same age and was so sure I had found him, but his wife said he was born in Indiana.

  • I sent a letter to the Social Security office in Washington, DC, but the reply was that they needed a Soc. Sec. number or an address.

  • We enlisted the services of an author and professional investigator. But she exhausted all her avenues with no results.

Perhaps she remarried and changed Glen's surname. Perhaps we'll have to wait until the 1930 census records are available in a few years, but then we can only hope that Alec is still dancing.
