A Chance Visit in a Portland Cemetery

by Joanne Rabun

My e-mail address is jrabun@ix.netcom.com
and I live in Eugene, Oregon.

This really
happened to me I drove up to Portland to find the graves of my GGG-grandparents, John and Nancy (Glover) Ball, who were buried at the Damascus Pioneer Cemetery.

In the process, I met a librarian who lived next door to some of their other descendants. On that particular day, all of the older members of the family were spending the day at the cemetery doing their annual cleanup.

I was able to meet them all and found some great information!
