Just One More Try

In 1987, my mother and I took a trip to Newmarket, Ontario in search of some family resting sites. It was a Sunday and both the town records office and the cemetery clerk's office were closed for the day. We drove around the cemetery anyway in a futile attempt to find the grave sites ourselves.

After about 10 minutes, feeling that we would never find them, I suggested that we park and walk a bit. I walked around to the other side of the gravestone we had parked next to and read the inscription on the gravestone -- it was my great grandmother's -- the rest of the family members were nearby.
