I've got information on both sides of my family that dead-ends at the surname Lee, and I was wondering if anybody could help me.
On my dad's side, My great-grandmother was Matilda (possibly Beatrice Matilda) Lee, and married George Baird. They had children in 1922, 1923, 1925, 1930, and 1933, and she died in 1957 (he died in 1972). My grandfather Earl was born in 1925. Abner was Matilda's brother, a rancher somewhere near the TX-NM border. He died probably sometime in the 1980s, and his wife Edna died around late 1987 or 1988. My dad and uncle remember visiting them sometime around 1966 or 1967, and my uncle remembers visiting Edna on her death bed in August or September 1987.
On my mom's side, her grandmother (my great-grandmother) wrote down that (if I am deciphering this correctly) Willam Jackson (d. 1890) married Ella Lee (d. 1888). Their son, Samuel "Jess" Jackson (9/5/1880-1/16/1958) married Tula Lee (4/10/1878-7/16/1966). Willam and Ella's other son William "Willie" Jackson (m. Annie Blankenship, and d. 1941) is my great-grandmother's maternal grandfather.
Any help to fill in the gaps would be great. Thanks.
