Clipping - OPA Validates New Sugar Stamp

OPA Validates New Sugar Stamp

War Ration Clippings

Los Angeles housewives had a new sugar coupon to use today - spare stamp No. 51 having become valid for five pounds of sugar.

The O. P. A. also announces that spare stamp No. 49 would remain valid until Sept. 30, while spare stamps No. 9 and No. 10, for home canning purposes, would remain usable through Oct. 31.

[Sept. 2, 1946]
