War Ration Clippings

Sugar - Book four "spare" stamp 49 valid for five pounds through Sept. 30; spare stamp 51 valid for five pounds through Dec. 31; spare stampts 9 and 10 valid through Oct. 31 for five pounds canning sugar each.

Liquor - Forty-seventh ration period ends Oct. 5. Allotment is one unit (one-fifth, on quart of two pints) of rationed whisky. Rums, cordials, brandy and cane spirit blended whisky and gin purchases unrationed.

Salvaged Fats - Household consumers will get 4 cents for each pound of waste kitchen fats and greases taken to their meat market.
