Genealogy Today (www.genealogytoday.com) announced that Family Tree Connection, a subscription service offering researchers access to unique family history information, has surpassed a total of 300,000 names this month.
Family Tree Connection contains genealogical data from over 1,400 resources that include insurance claims, Masonic lodge rosters, church records, club and society member lists, business associations, mining accident reports and much more. And every item is displayed with complete source information, including the source title, year published, and page number.
"This database is a collection of genealogical information transcribed from a variety of sources you may not have considered in your research," explained Illya D'Addezio, owner of Genealogy Today. "We've added one hundred thousand names in just three months, making Family Tree Connection one of the fastest growing online resources."
Every week several thousand names are carefully indexed from across the United States and parts of Europe. In addition to names, the Family Tree Connection includes photos from the resources when the name of the individual is clearly indicated. The images are linked to the related database records and accessible to subscribers for downloading.
"Visit the site and try a free search of your surnames to see just how many potential ancestors a subscription could add to your tree," added Illya. "Many of our subscribers also search for ancestors they have already found to see if they can find additional facts about them."
An annual subscription offers unlimited access to the Family Tree Connection database, along with a 5% discount on all purchases in The Marketplace at Genealogy Today. The regular price for a one-year subscription is $29.95 with discounts for 24 and 36 month subscriptions.
